刚刚用微波炉烧开水，再把冒着几颗气泡的水倒入放有袋装绿茶的玻璃杯时，突然我尖叫一声，怎么回事？天哪，玻璃杯碎了，那沸腾的水溅到我的腿和脚上，那叫一个疼哦。从来没遇到这个情况，我那厚实的玻璃杯散了架，现在是夏天啊。检查了一下腿和脚，皮有点红，没起泡，继观病情变化。看来我真的老了，那看似还嫩的皮竟然经得住开水烫。难道，难道……难道是天意不要我赴今晚的网友初会？不，我不相信天意，我只相信科学。今晚一定要去，一起为阿根廷助威！
立即联想起前些日子在科学松鼠会上看到的两则科普短文，可以解释刚刚的意外。肯定是微波炉过长时间加热水后，看似平静的水的温度已经超过了100度却没有明显的沸腾，过高的温度导致玻璃杯的破碎。其中部分内容转载如下，提醒大家注意，尤其在吃微波炉热的鸡蛋时，千万要小心，弄不好会毁容的哦。
“美国的FDA（食品药品管理局）说，接到了许多因为使用微波炉而“受伤”的报告。不过，这些“事故”都跟微波炉本身无关，而是不当使用造成的。以下是最常见的两类事故：
1、 液体过热。传统烧水的时候水会流动，到了沸点就“开”了。而微波加热水不流动，只是温度升高，有可能超过了沸点还“不开”。但是这个时候的水温度已经非常高了，只要有一点扰动，就会猛烈沸腾。如果这个扰动是你去拿水的时候产生的，那么就会被烫得比开水还厉害。越干净的容器，越干净的水，就越容易发生这样的事故。所以，为了安全，最好不要“以身试法”，去体验过热水的“过热”。其它的液体，比如牛奶、汤等，因为其中有别的成分不容易过热，但是长时间加热也很容易“暴沸”而冲出容器。不是不能用微波炉来加热这些东西，而是要算好加热时间。
2、 鸡蛋爆炸。微波炉不能加热鸡蛋，大概是一个常识了。鸡蛋爆炸的原因有点类似于水的“暴沸”。鸡蛋内部过热，压力很大，受到到外界干扰，压力释放，于是鸡蛋就暴了。如果爆炸发生在鸡蛋进嘴的时候，大概就相当于在嘴里放鞭炮了。”
